I teach guitar, bass guitar and double bass from any standard. I teach at Trinity School in Croydon, Bromley High School and Dulwich College Prep School. Aside from these posts, I am available for private tuition. All styles are catered for and I submit students to all major examination boards.

Although I tailor my teaching to meet individuals' needs, in dealing with beginners to intermediate players I use Roy Chilton's 'Pick Guitar' and 'Pick Bass' books. They provide a thorough and very structured approach to their respective instruments.

For more advanced students I concentrate on developing a player's strengths as well as remedying any weaknesses. I ensure that a player is well equipped to deal with any situation which they may face as well as being able to demonstrate a good repertoire. General musical awareness is another area which I seek to enhance within my students.

Above all, I insist that learning a musical instrument should be FUN!!!
